Gazeta.Ru published an interview with cybersecurity expert at Kaspersky Lab Dmitry Galov. The specialist said that at least 54 thousand users around the world faced stalking programs.
He noted that hackers often use stalker programs and Trojans, the action of which is quite difficult to recognize. It is possible to understand that the user is being followed only by some, rather indirect, signs. Among them: fast battery discharge, high traffic consumption, software appears on the smartphone that the user has not installed.
It is also noted that it is possible to unambiguously recognize whether a smartphone is infected only with the help of antivirus programs.
