Russians have been warned that autumn can be hard on allergy sufferers

by alex

Allergist-immunologist Vladimir Bolibok said that in Russia the allergy season usually ends in September. However, this year it may drag on and the expert explained why his colleagues had such predictions.

With the summer being hot, the allergist is worried that this year's allergy season will continue into September. He announced this in an interview with Sputnik radio.

“We think September is the end of the pollen allergy season, but it all depends on the season and the weather. For example, if September is warm enough, that is, Indian summer, then a reaction to weed pollen will still appear. Therefore, it is a little premature to say that September will be completely free of allergies in the central regions of Russia ”,

For those with allergies, the doctor advised wearing masks next to flowering plants.

He also recalled that any such reaction can be blocked with medication, even if it is strong.

Earlier, Letidor told how to avoid outbreaks of coronavirus among children in the fall.

The editorial board of Letidor warns: the opinions of doctors in news publications are not equated with medical prescriptions. Always consult your healthcare professional.
