Analysts at AliExpress Russia have estimated the demand of Russians for PC components. It turned out that over the period from August 1 to August 15, it increased significantly – two times.
Experts noted that the reason for this may be the preparation for the new academic year.
The demand for video cards for the specified period increased by 7.5 times when compared with August last year. Basically, Russians prefer video cards with mining protection and encrypted BIOS. They are ready to pay for video cards from 13 to 62 thousand rubles.
Motherboards also began to be bought more often by one and a half times. Their average cost is 4-6 thousand rubles. The demand for PC cases has grown 1.4 times. Such goods are bought for 2-6 thousand rubles. They also started purchasing SSDs more often – 1.4 times. The most popular models are 120 GB. Their average cost is 4-8 thousand rubles. External hard drives are now bought 1.6 times more often.
The demand for mice and keyboards has also increased 2.5 times.
