Declaring suspicions to deputies from the Opposition Platform for Life will make it much more difficult for Russians to recruit new agents in Ukraine. Thus, political scientist Oleksiy Golobutsky commented on the recent searches by the Security Service of Ukraine at the people's deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life Oleg Voloshin.
According to Golobutsky, such actions against Voloshin will have several important consequences.
“Firstly, instead of the status of a member of parliament, he will have the status of a suspect, who, subsequently, is awaiting trial and prison. And secondly, such a defeat of” OPZZhshnikov “and the inevitability of punishment will greatly complicate the recruitment of new agents for Russians, after landings and exposing the agents of the old,” the political scientist notes.
He added that until February last year, Voloshin constantly traveled to Europe with the slogan “Ukrainian fascists again threaten peace-loving Moscow.”
“Voloshin was a particularly disgusting subspecies of the “OPZZhnik” – “pseudo-European Medvedchukist”. And a couple of days before the invasion, using parliamentary immunity, he fled abroad,” the expert writes.
He added that it is very important that now the SBU systematically took sing for the entire “5th column”.
Recall, on February 10, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches and announced the suspicions of the People's Deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life to Oleg Voloshin and pro-Russian propagandist Tatyana Montyan. And recently, on the proposal of the SBU, the President deprived the citizenship of odious representatives of the Yanukovych regime. Even earlier, he was deprived of the status of a people's deputy of four parliamentarians from the Opposition Platform for Life. Among them is Viktor Medvedchuk, who was detained by the SBU, and later he was exchanged for 200 Ukrainian captive heroes.
