~6 0~p>Last cases of "friendly bombing" Belgorod region of the Russian Federation occurred on June 11 and 12.
In the last four months alone, Russian military aircraft have dropped about a hundred aerial bombs on their own regions and occupied territories Ukraine.
According to ASTRA estimates, Russian aircraft dropped 93 bombs on their own.
As a source in the emergency services of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation told the publication, the latest cases occurred on June 11 and 12. Five high-explosive aircraft bombs were found in the villages of Neklyudovo, Novostroika, Tseplyaevo-II, in the areas of the villages of Batratskaya Dacha and Leninskoye.
Previously, Russian bombs fell on the suburbs of Belgorod on the day of the collapse of a high-rise building – May 12.
Two FAB-500s fell on the village of Razumnoye-54 with an 8-hour interval. The bombs fell less than 8 km from the house where the entrance collapsed on the same day as a result of a munition hitting it. Both FABs buried themselves in the ground and did not explode. Local Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov soon called on local residents to evacuate while the mines were cleared.
According to The Insider's calculations, in 2024 alone, at least 39 unauthorized falls of Russian aerial munitions were recorded in the Belgorod Region: 38 different FAB modifications and one Ch-59 missile. FABs fell in Belgorod at least twice.
Earlier this year, a Russian aerial bomb fell on the village of Petropavlovka in the Voronezh Region. As a result of the incident that occurred on January 2, four people were injured, more than 100 residential buildings received various damages. A school, a cultural building, an administration building, five cars and a tractor were also damaged.
A few days later, on January 8, during the shelling of Ukraine, a Russian FAB fell on the city of Rubizhne in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region. Residents of nearby houses were urgently evacuated. Five people, including two children, were sent to temporary accommodation centers, the rest decided to move in with relatives and friends.
Similar incidents occurred last year. In particular, on April 20, 2023, an aerial bomb exploded in the central part of Belgorod, which a Russian Su-34 military aircraft lost over the city. The Russian Defense Ministry called the incident an “unscheduled descent of an aircraft munition” and acknowledged “damage to residential buildings,” without specifying their number.
Recall that two employees of the Russian propaganda television channel “NTV” were seriously injured near occupied Gorlovka in the Donetsk region. A career serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces was also injured.
