The Russian tourist went on vacation in Egypt and called the attitude of local residents towards Russian tourists consumer. She discussed this in her personal blog on the Yandex.Zen platform.

According to the traveler, one of the reasons for such a disrespectful attitude towards Russians is the behavior of some tourists who ignore the norms of morality and decency. For example, they forget that it is not customary to wear revealing clothes in a Muslim country.

In addition, the author of the blog found out that the Egyptians do not hesitate to show that they only need money from tourists. So, she was outraged that Russians are constantly being asked to pay or buy something: entrance to the beach (free for local residents), impose taxi services or goods at the bazaar.

“I felt the true attitude of the Egyptians towards us. It is simply consumer-oriented. We are not respected, appreciated, and loved. Russians are needed only because of the money. Even in all these revealing outfits, ”the girl admitted.

The Russian woman also noted that in a cafe or in the market, Egyptians and foreign tourists are told different prices, forcing the latter to overpay 3-4 times.

“I also swear at Egypt, but I am also not satisfied with the behavior of Russian tourists. Real bottom, I will never go to Egypt again, ”the traveler thinks.

Earlier in December, the Russian rested in Egypt and named a way to avoid conflict situations with Ukrainian tourists at the hotel. According to the traveler, at first he was afraid to communicate with tourists from Ukraine and was afraid not to get along with them in the same hotel. However, in the end, he managed to make friends with a young couple from Kharkov to talk about everyday topics: housing prices, gas and food.
