A Russian woman living in the Krasnodar Territory has revealed a way to culturally refuse people who ask for a “free” overnight stay on their way to vacation. She told about this in her personal blog on the Yandex.Zen platform.
According to the girl, she would, without thinking, invite the closest family members (parents, sisters or brothers), as well as best friends, to visit her. However, she would not let distant relatives and unfamiliar people who are looking for a way to save money on travel into the house.
“After moving to Krasnodar, requests on the topic“ Can I sleep with you? ” come in constantly. I believe that many residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad have the same story, but about the seaside resorts, where there are a lot of tourists, there is nothing to say at all, ”she said.
The author noted that it is necessary to be able to say “no”, since many react painfully to refusals. For example, she offered to explain that the house does not have extra mattresses, pillows and blankets for guests.
The Russian woman added that she usually recommends inexpensive hotels to people who ask for a visit. At the same time, she clarified that if further relations with a person are not important, then you can refuse without explaining the reasons.
Earlier in December, a frequently traveling Russian woman listed the most annoying tourist habits. According to the girl, some people often forget that their freedom ends where they begin to interfere with their behavior to others. So, she criticized travelers who are often late, as a result of which excursion groups or other bus passengers are forced to wait for them.
