On March 21, 14 fires broke out in the Lugansk region due to the Russian invasion. About 25 objects were damaged, including two apartment buildings and 16 private residential buildings, a children's hospital in Severodonetsk, a school in Rubizhnoye, a food warehouse, outbuildings, garages, and infrastructure facilities.
This was announced by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai.
According to him, on March 21, the fire in Rubizhne, Luhansk region, almost did not stop. Rescuers and ambulances received calls several times, tried to go to the indicated addresses, but the shelling did not allow them to quickly reach the victims.
In some cases, it was impossible to reach the fire sites for hours, because the shell explosions did not subside. When the blitzkrieg in Rubizhne did not work out for the Russians, they began to destroy the city, destroy houses, schools, hospitals.
Sergei Gaidai also added that Popasnyanshchina remains impregnable for the enemy. Fighting continues, but the Russians are not moving deeper into the cities. On March 21, residents of Gorsky also withstood an airstrike.
In Severodonetsk, Russian invaders continue to destroy food warehouses. But Sergei Gaidai assured that the necessary supply of products had been arranged.
