Russian artillery and multiple launch rocket systems of the Russian army shelled Severodonetsk and Rubizhnoye in the Luhansk region during the evening and night of March 17-18.
On the evening of March 17, they shelled the old districts of Severodonetsk with hailstones. Six infrastructure facilities, two houses, and garages were damaged or destroyed.
As a result of the shelling, two people were killed and four more were injured. This was announced by the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai.
According to him, in some houses, near which there were shelling, there is no gas and water. But the public utilities will try to fix it as soon as possible.
Sergei Gaidai also added that the situation in Rubizhne is also difficult, the city is fighting off the enemy with all its last strength. During the night, 10 houses and a store caught fire. There are two wounded.
At 5 am, the Russians again opened fire on Severodonetsk, Kremennaya, and Privil. The number of victims and destruction is being specified.
In general, the Russian invaders destroyed more than 20 residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in Severodonetsk and Rubizhne overnight.
