” An extraordinary virtual meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of foreign ministers will be held in the format of a video teleconference on Friday, January 7, 2022. NATO foreign ministers will discuss the buildup of Russia's military power in and around Ukraine and the security of Europe as a whole, “the official says. message.

It is noted that the meeting will take place on Friday, January 7, at 14.00 under the leadership of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg . A briefing is scheduled after the meeting.

A table to note, Stoltenberg confirmed that the NATO-Russia Council meeting will take place on 12 January. Prior to that, on January 10, 2022, the United States of America and the Russian Federation will hold talks on arms control and the situation in Ukraine. The next day, January 11, talks between representatives of Russia and the OSCE will take place.
