Russian tennis player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova contracted a coronavirus infection. The athlete announced this in her Twitter account.

“On Tuesday I flew to Australia and tested positive for COVID-19,” she wrote. The tennis player added that she is fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

She is currently in complete isolation in a special hotel under the supervision of doctors. “I will return to the court when it is safe for the rest,” said the tennis player.

Earlier it became known that Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev contracted the coronavirus before the ATP Cup and Australian Open tournaments. The athlete wrote that he had minimal symptoms. He also noted that he was fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
