Russian swimmers shared gold with the United States in the combined relay at the World Short Course Championships. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.
The Russian national team included Kliment Kolesnikov, Kirill Strelnikov, Andrey Minakov and Vladimir Morozov. Domestic athletes covered a distance of 50 meters each in complex swimming in 1 minute 30.51 seconds. The American team showed the same result. Italians finished third.
On December 16, Russian swimmers won gold medals in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay. The men's team played in the following composition: Kliment Kolesnikov, Andrey Minakov, Vladislav Grinev and Alexander Shchegolev.
The World Short Course Championships are held in Abu Dhabi. The tournament will end on December 21. Olympic champion Evgeny Rylov, as well as Anton Chupkov and Martin Malyutin, miss the World Cup.
