Military expert Alexei Leonkov said that the Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57 is ahead of its competitors from the United States in weapons systems, robotization, radar surveillance systems and electronic warfare (EW).
The expert said that the Su-57 is ahead of American aircraft in the number and variety of weapons already now. In addition, the fighter uses the latest technology that competitors from the United States do not have.
Leonkov noted that earlier only American F-22 and F-35 were ranked as the fifth generation of aircraft, but these fighters are not inconspicuous. At the same time, Russia, according to the expert, has obvious progress both in twin-engine cars and in single-engine ones.
The first Su-57 entered the Russian troops in 2020.
