The Russian robotic complex “Udar” will be able to fight autonomously, Bekkhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the “Rostec” weapons complex, told TASS.
“For this, the complex includes a motion planning subsystem based on sensors and meters. On the basis of the received data, the route of movement of the robot is formed, at the same time the terrain is taken into account and the parameters of the combat mission can be calculated, “the top manager noted.
According to the industrial director, the robotic complex is capable of interacting with flying drones. “Interaction with drones has been worked out, including the tethered type with power supply from the robot itself. Such drones can be used for additional reconnaissance and relaying the radio control channel, ”Ozdoev said.
In April 2020, the head of the Scientific and Technical Council – Deputy General Director of the Advanced Research Fund (FPI) Vitaly Davydov said that the project of the Russian deadly robot “Marker”, first presented in October 2019, will be completed in 2021.
The Udar robotic complex based on the BMP-3 armored combat vehicle was first presented in 2015 at the Innovation Day of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
