Russian skiers won silver in the relay at the World Championships

The Russian women's national cross-country skiing team showed the second result in the relay at the World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany. The correspondent of “Lenta.ru” informs about it.

Russians Yulia Stupak, Tatyana Sorina, Natalya Nepryaeva and Yana Kirpichenko won silver medals, 26.6 seconds behind the leaders. The victory in the competition was won by the Norwegian athletes. They covered the distance in 53 minutes 43.2 seconds. The Finnish team took the third place. The Swedish skiers, the favorites of the relay, came in sixth.
