Russian skiers were left without medals in the skiathlon at the World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany. The results are available on the website of the International Ski Federation (FIS).
Tatyana Sorina became the best Russian woman, who took eighth place at a distance of 7.5 kilometers in a classic style and 7.5 in a free style. The winner of the race was the Norwegian Teresa Johaug, who covered the distance in 38 minutes and 35.5 seconds. The second place is taken by the Swede Frida Karlsson, 30 seconds behind the leader. Third place was taken by another representative of Sweden, Ebba Andersson, 30.5 seconds back.
