Russian skiers banned from using “Katyusha” at the World Championships

Russian skiers were banned from using the song “Katyusha” as a substitute for the Russian anthem at the World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany. This was reported by TASS with reference to a representative of the International Ski Federation (FIS).

The FIS said that due to the sanctions of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the full version of the organization's anthem will be performed in honor of the Russian winners of the tournament.
