Russian "Gazprom" may lose the Chinese sales market.
Russians will have to pay from their taxes for cheap gas for Chinese “friends of Putin”, since China agrees to buy “blue fuel” from Gazprom at prices close to those that exist on the domestic Russian market.
Ukrainian journalist and blogger Denis Kazansky drew attention to the hysteria of propagandists because of such a “trap” of China in his review.
As evidenced by a clip from programs devoted to the preparation of an agreement between the Russian Federation and China on the sale of gas through the Power of Siberia-2 pipeline, Russian “patriots” are sounding the alarm: the main Russian monopoly, Gazprom, which was an economic weapon and generated revenues of hundreds of billions of dollars, is now collapsing.
Having lost the European market because of the war in Ukraine due to the Kremlin's war, Gazprom suffered record losses last year, according to Russian propagandists. in the amount of 629 billion rubles, shares collapsed, capitalization dropped to a historical low.
“Until recently, there were hopes for China. But Putin’s “Chinese friends” decided to take advantage of the difficult situation into which Putin has driven his country, and now demand that Russia sell gas at cost or even at a loss,” noted Denis Kazansky.
A Ukrainian journalist noted that cheap domestic Russian gas prices, which were such due to government subsidies, played a cruel joke. China wants to buy at the same prices as on the domestic Russian market, that is, Russia is offered to subsidize not only gas for its own consumption, but also the Chinese.
As Russian propagandists note, China is already buying gas from the Russian Federation at prices cheaper than those from Uzbekistan and Myanmar.
“Now, thanks to the moronic war, the Russians will pay for everything – both for the losses of the Russian oligarchs and for cheap gas for their Chinese comrades,” concluded Denis Kazansky.
Let us recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin was unable to agree during a recent visit to China with the country’s leader Xi Jinping on the construction of the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline.
