Russian officials will begin to test for knowledge of cybersecurity

The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia will begin to test the knowledge of cybersecurity officials. This will be done using a specialized portal for self-study and testing of civil servants.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, there are two versions of this portal – for officials and for citizens. The need for such a resource has arisen due to the decreasing age of those who are more likely to become victims of fraudsters. According to the information, last year the most gullible category of the population were people over 60, now 35-40 years old.

“The Ministry of Digital Science is working to improve cyber literacy, and next year we, in particular, have two events planned. The first is the training of officials, this is a portal for self-training and testing … The second is a program for a wide range of the population, starting from five years old, both the middle generation and the older, ”said Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Science Alexander Shoitov.

As for the officials, it was noted that they will be self-taught and undergo compulsory testing.
