The deputy mayor of the Irkutsk district was accused of taking a bribe from the director of a construction company. About this “Tape.
Together with the deputy mayor, his subordinate, the head of the capital construction department of the Municipal property Management Committee of the district administration, was also detained.
According to investigators, officials received 13 million rubles from the head of the company for patronage during the construction of a school in one of the settlements under a municipal contract.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainees under part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Receiving a bribe on a particularly large scale, by a group of persons by prior agreement”). They were placed in a temporary detention facility.
Searches were conducted at home and at work at the defendants in the case.
