Russian NHL player suspended for sitting in a hotel complained about “rats”

Striker of the Washington Capitals National Hockey League (NHL) club Yevgeny Kuznetsov commented on the suspension from regular season matches for violating medical protocols regarding coronavirus. His words are quoted by “Sport-Express”.

“Someone said that we are sitting in the dressing room without masks after the match. From the leadership of the league, we instantly flew. I wonder who the rat is? ” – complained Kuznetsov. He justified his behavior by forgetting about the rules because of emotions after the first win of the season and did not want to violate them on purpose.
