Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Abu Muslim Alikhanov supported his teammate Pyotr Yan after his defeat by disqualification from the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament. His words are quoted by Metaratings.
Alikhanov shared his opinion on the fight between Ian and Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259. The fight ended after a prohibited strike from the Russian fighter. Alikhanov accused the American athlete of pretending. In his opinion, Sterling feigned a serious condition after a missed knee to the head.
