In 2021, the Russian military will learn to create special areas with the maximum degree of protection.
The electronic warfare (EW) troops will have to conduct several unique exercises in the districts. It is noted that their task as units will be to acquire the necessary skills in organizing zones in order to make them completely inaccessible to cruise missiles, precision weapons and enemy drones, Izvestia reports.
It is specified that they plan to repeat such maneuvers next year, only on a national scale. This approach, as experts suggest, should significantly increase the level of Russia's security.
– It will be possible to create an almost impenetrable protection not only over army facilities, but also over social and industrial ones, – the newspaper notes.
We will remind, earlier, President Vladimir Putin promised to continue to improve and develop the armed forces. According to him, by 2024 the share of modern weapons and equipment in the troops will be almost 76 percent – this is a very good indicator. And in the nuclear triad this year it will exceed 88 percent.
Earlier it was reported that the use of drones can be useful for both the army and ordinary citizens. In April last year, a drone was tested in Russia to deliver coronavirus tests to villages, and in January 2021, a drone taxi was tested at the Luzhniki Small Sports Arena in Moscow.
