In Moscow, an unknown person attacked the master of sports in freestyle wrestling Oleg Kuryachiy. This is reported by REN TV.
According to the source, the athlete went to the police. He said that he did not remember where the conflict began. After the beating, the wrestler needed the help of doctors: he was diagnosed with a fracture of the lower jaw and bruises. Kuryachiy also said that his wallet and all documents were missing. The police began to search for the intruder.
Kuryachiy won a silver medal at the 2017 European Bench Press Championships. He also has several silver awards at the Russian championships.
On December 10, Greco-Roman wrestling coach Arsen Melkumyan beat a courier in Moscow because he could not pay 1,700 rubles for pizza.
