TFR: in Novosibirsk, a man who beheaded a comrade on New Year's Eve was sentenced to 11 years

The Sovetsky District Court of Novosibirsk sentenced a 51-year-old man to 11 years in prison for beheading a 48-year-old comrade on the night of December 31, 2020. On Monday, December 27, “Lente.ru” was informed about this in the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
According to the investigation, the men drank alcohol together during a New Year's feast in an apartment owned by the victim on Ivanova Street in Akademgorodok. A quarrel arose between them, after which the friends began to fight. The 51-year-old man knocked his drinking companion to the floor, stunned him, then found a knife in the apartment and severed his head with it. Then the attacker threw his comrade's head out into the street and fled from the scene of the crime.
On January 3, a local resident found the body of the murdered man. Later, a head in a plastic bag was found under the windows. The offender was detained in hot pursuit. He fully admitted his guilt.
On December 27, 2021, it was reported that a local resident was sentenced to life in Perm for beheading his pregnant wife and father-in-law.
