Despite the crazy numbers that should demotivate, the occupiers do not stop.
In two years of a full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian Federation has lost quite a few pieces of equipment and human resources. In particular, these are more than 2,700 tanks and about 350 thousand soldiers.
This is stated in the report of the British Ministry of Defense.
As the report notes, Russia initially deployed approximately 130 battalion tactical groups to invade Ukraine. This probably included about 1,300 tanks, over 5,000 infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, and at least 100,000 personnel.
For two years, Russia's losses have equaled, the Ministry of Defense notes, and in many cases exceeded those that constituted its original strength. Liquidation confirmed: more than 2,700 tanks, 5,000 infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers and about 350 thousand people (wounded and killed).
“Mobilization, production and restoration of existing supplies means that losses have been compensated. There are now more Russian troops in Ukraine than at the beginning of the war. Russia is now able to support attacks along the front line and pursue a strategy of attrition of Ukrainian forces,” – added in intelligence.
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba spoke about the losses of the Russian Federation in Avdiivka.
