The Russian military launched an airstrike on the central square of Kharkov.
This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The missile attack hit the very center of Kharkov – Svoboda Square. There is a building of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
The footage shows how several civilian cars calmly pass near the administration, and it is at this moment that a rocket flies there, raising a cloud of fire.
Several cars manage to leave, people get out and run away.
According to the State Emergency Service, according to preliminary information, a hit was recorded in the building of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the Opera House, the Philharmonic Society and part of the housing estate (mainly 4-5-storey residential buildings).
Currently, rescuers cannot start work due to shelling.
