The mayor of the city of Oleshki, in the Kherson region, Evgeny Ryshchuk, said that Russian troops had entered the city.
He stated this in a video message posted on his Facebook page.
According to him, so far the city is calm and nothing is happening.
– Today you everyone saw, I think you know, that Russian troops entered the city. I just got back from them, I was also a little “lost”. So far, nothing bad has happened. They settle in the city. I don't know what their positions are. We were told: “Maintain order, as you did, we will not have any relation to you now”. Our patrol continues to work, we continue to work, we take out the garbage, we bake bread, we work regardless of what happens in the city,” Ryshchuk said.
