The Russian invaders complain that they are “thrown” for money, do not pay what they promised for the war and the killing of civilians in Ukraine. Some of them desert without waiting for their “salary”.
This was reported in the Security Service of Ukraine and published another intercepted conversation of the enemy.
On the audio recording, the Russian invader complains to his ex-wife that he will not receive the promised $2,000 for participating in hostilities in Ukraine and killing Ukrainians.
– The scary thing is that we are being thrown at money here … Combat (payments, – Ed.) “mowed down”, they said that we would give combat next month. And this is two thousand dollars,” the occupier said during the conversation.
He also spoke about the mood in the ranks of the Russian army: many invaders are deserting “without money.”
– This phrase contains all the cynicism of the Russian invaders. They don't care that they are killing Ukrainian children, entire families and bombing maternity hospitals. It doesn't matter that tens of thousands of their own soldiers die. The only thing that worries the Russian occupier is that he doesn't get his $2,000 for killing Ukrainians. That's why Putin's “great army” is gradually turning into an army of deserters. Some fighters run away without even waiting for the promised monthly salary, the SBU noted, commenting on the intercepted conversation.
