Gazprom has extended contracts for the supply of gas to Belarus for 2023-2025.
This is stated on the corporate information website of Gazprom.
It is noted that the parties agreed on the further transportation of the so-called “blue fuel”, agreeing on the estimated cost. So, for the period 2023-2025, the cost will be 250 billion Russian rubles, or $3.5 billion annually. Transportation of the resource through the territory of Belarus is estimated at 12 billion rubles of annual costs.
Russian mass media write that the presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus discussed the contracts during their last meeting in Minsk on December 19, 2022. It is emphasized that they agreed to continue gas trade on “favorable terms” for both parties.
Recall that Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russian OJSC Gazprom Neft is creating its own private military company and the corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. The GUR explained that an “arms race” continues in the Russian Federation among the main political players who are actively creating private armies.
