Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrei Rudenko named possible topics for negotiations with Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
“The task of the special military operation, which is now being carried out by Russia, is the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. Probably, these issues will be at the center of the upcoming negotiations,” Rudenko said.
He added that “you need to know the approaches and position of the opposite side.”
On February 27, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a Russian delegation, consisting of representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Defense and the presidential administration, arrived in Belarusian Gomel for negotiations with the Ukrainian side. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kyiv offered Warsaw, Bratislava, Budapest, Istanbul and Baku as a meeting place. “Yes, and any other city suits us. In a country from whose territory missiles do not fly,” the Ukrainian leader added.
