Russian fighters intercepted two US Air Force B-1B strategic bombers over the Bering Sea. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that on October 21, Russian airspace control devices over the neutral waters of the Bering Sea detected two air targets approaching the Russian border. MiG-31 and Su-35 fighters identified them as B-1B bombers of the US Air Force and escorted them. Then the Russian planes returned to the airfield, border violations were not allowed.
