Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Yakovlev lost to Spaniard Joel Alvarez at the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) 254 tournament, Lenta.ru correspondent reports.

Alvarez caught the Russian with a painful hold in the first round and forced him to surrender.
