Russian family decided to fly in a hot air balloon – they were blown away by the wind into the taiga

The family decided to use the certificate for a ride in a hot air balloon, which was presented to the father of the family for the holiday. Together with the pilot, they settled in the basket and began their journey. However, the walk suddenly turned into a real nightmare.

The head of the family was the Far Eastern writer Vladimir Semenchik. The balloon was blown away from the designated route by a sudden rise in the wind. As a result, the passengers landed in the taiga, the victim reports to the 5-tv.ru channel.

“After 20-30 minutes the pilot became nervous, because we were flying in the opposite direction than planned: we had to fly into the fields, and we were drawn to the west, into the hills. The pilot began to request permission from the airport to climb higher – by 2.5 kilometers instead of 700 meters, because there, according to the forecast, the wind had to blow in the right direction. But everything turned out to be exactly the opposite – we were carried even further into the hills ”,

The family was not afraid to crash, because as soon as the air cools down in the balloon, it smoothly sinks to the ground. However, they were afraid to end up in a dense forest. Besides, it was already evening.

The pilot landed the balloon and the victims had to walk for about five hours. They were picked up by the driver who drove out to meet them.

“The most dangerous thing, of course, would be to meet a bear in the forest, because there were a lot of footprints, or if someone twisted or broke a leg and would have to carry it. But we had no other choice “,

The Far Eastern journalist and his family made no claims either against the pilot or against the company that owned the vehicle. They are convinced that the wrong forecast of meteorologists ruined their flight.

The company will have to carry out an expensive operation to evacuate the balloon from the taiga using a helicopter.

Earlier Letidor wrote that a three-year-old child survived by wandering in a cold forest for three days.
