One of the first to recall the event was probably Russian actor Stanislav Sadalsky. In his Telegram channel, he shared a photo of the Education Minister's autograph at the Artek camp with a spelling mistake in the Russian word for “prazdnik”. Kravtsov forgot the letter “d”.

Russian media reported that the incident occurred during a personal visit by the minister and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko to Artek. The officials came to the Suuk-Su palace in Gurzuf to congratulate the children's camp on its 100th anniversary.
During the visit, Kravtsov decided to leave an autograph as a keepsake, but made a mistake that will probably forever go down in the history of education in Russia. The autograph in a frame with glass was hung on the wall along with a photograph of the Minister of Education.
