Moldova's border patrols recorded explosions near the border with Ukraine

On the morning of November 17, Russia carried out a massive shelling of Ukraine with missiles and drones. Several drones may have violated Moldovan airspace.

The government Telegram channel Prima Surs reported this.

The competent authorities monitored the Russian attack on Ukraine. Border patrols in Valea Perjia, Tudor, Crocmaz and Olenesti recorded explosions in the areas adjacent to Moldova.

The report says that a missile was spotted in Larga, Briceni district, on the Ukrainian side. A resident of Groznitsa also reported seeing two drones at an altitude of about 100 meters. They disappeared over Rotunda and Verkhnie Kholohory.

At the same time, the Moldovan government reported that the country's radars did not detect the drones. They noted that such devices are launched at low altitude to avoid detection by the Defense Ministry's radars.

The Moldovan government stated that no aircraft crashes were recorded on the country's territory. They called for calm and immediate notification to the competent authorities upon detection of suspicious objects or aircraft.

Recall that the border guards of the Kramatorsk detachment repelled the assault of Russian troops in the Vovchansk direction in the Kharkov region, preventing the enemy from breaking through the defense.
