The Romanian authorities are conducting a full investigation into the fall of drone debris on their territory.

In Romania, fragments of Russian drones crashed for the third time after attacks in the south of the Odessa region. NATO said it saw no signs of a deliberate attack on an Alliance country.

This was announced by Alliance spokesman Dylan White, Sky News reports.

According to him, this is the third case in a week , when the wreckage of drones similar to those in the Russian Federation is found on the territory of Romania.

“NATO has no information that would indicate any deliberate attack by Russia on allied territory. NATO stands in solidarity with our ally Romania. Authorities The Romanians remain alert and are conducting a full investigation,” he said.

Romania's Ambassador to NATO Dan Neculaescu said he told NATO allies about Russia's sustained attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure near Romania at a regular meeting of the North Atlantic Council in Wednesday, September 13.

Also, as he noted, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg spoke with President Klaus Johannis over the weekend. And the Alliance “will continue to monitor the situation in close contact with the Romanian authorities.”
