On Tuesday, July 8, a civilian drone crashed during a test flight in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan. A fire broke out in a summer house on the territory of the Dubki gardening non-profit society in Kazan.
This is reported by propaganda media, 24 Channel reports. According to preliminary information, the aircraft could have hit power lines during its descent.
What is known about the incident
According to official data from the Tatarstan authorities, the incident occurred at about 09:10 local time. During a training flight, the drone lost control and fell on a summer cottage.
There were no casualties and the fire was soon extinguished.

However, unofficially, Russian media name different types of aircraft. It is likely that the latest reconnaissance and combat drone “Altair” crashed, weighing 6 tons and with a wingspan of 28 meters. According to another version, it was a light aircraft Cessna 337 Skymaster, which allegedly caught its wing on a tree.
