The doctor noted that physicians in the “red zone” and polyclinics began to pay attention that the disease began to develop much more rapidly. So, if earlier the symptoms appeared after 4-10 days, now the incubation period is 2-3 days.
“The second new sign is that there is not always a cough. Patients are more likely to experience fever and intestinal upset. And the third alarming factor is that children and adolescents began to get sick more often and with complications, ”Renz said.
Earlier, the infectious disease doctor Andrei Pozdnyakov said that not everyone who has had a coronavirus develops postcoid syndrome. According to him, it can manifest itself in patients who have had a mild or asymptomatic illness.
