The Russian side received a particle of the Holy Fire in Jerusalem and is currently on its way to the airport. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov.

“We received a piece of the Holy Fire. Now we are leaving for the airport, ”TASS quoted him as saying.

It is noted that the diplomats will hand over the shrine to representatives of the Fund of St. Andrew the First-Called, who will deliver it to Russia.

Earlier, the Holy Fire descended in Kuvukliya in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
