In the Russian republic of Udmurtia, a group of security forces tried to detain Yevgeny Kudelin, who was wanted as a deserter from a military unit. But he eluded them for a long time.

According to the publication, when the security forces approached Kudelin's house, he opened fire and then ran into the forest. About 100 security forces were sent to search for the deserter.
About two hours later, Kudelin himself emerged from the forest, fired at the traffic police officers who were participating in the cordon, and fled again.
After 15 minutes he was found in the forest and detained.
As it turned out later, the weapon Kudelin “shot” with was a deactivated revolver. The fugitive only scared the security forces with his shots, without causing them any harm.
