Russian cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Sergei Kud-Sverchkov went into outer space from the International Space Station (ISS) and failed their task. RIA Novosti reports.
While in open space, the astronauts had to replace the old panel of the thermal control system of the Zarya functional cargo unit, but they could not get the new part out of the pressurized container. It is noted that the cosmonauts were forced to put back the old panel and return to the “Search” module.
Earlier it was reported that the first group of tourists could go to the ISS on the Soyuz spacecraft on December 8, 2021. The stay at the station will last 12 days. The Soyuz MS spacecraft with a Russian cosmonaut and two tourists will take off from Baikonur.
