The crews of Russian and Belarusian fighters held a training air battle. The pilots conditionally destroyed the enemy. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

“Belarusian pilots on Su-30SM aircraft and their Russian counterparts on Su-35S aircraft conducted a simulated steam-to-steam dogfight at low altitudes — from 200 to 1000 meters. The pilots alternately imitated the actions of the enemy. The task of the attackers is to “sit on the tail” of the enemy aircraft and conditionally destroy it,” the statement said.

Allied Resolve 2022 is being held from 10 to 20 February. As part of the maneuvers, the military work out the suppression and reflection of external aggression, as well as the protection of the interests of the Union State.

Earlier, as part of the exercise, a Russian Su-35S fighter intercepted a mock air border violator. The Russian Ministry of Defense published a recording of the interception.

On February 12, the defense department reported that artillerymen were practicing the actions of the Allied Resolve-2022 exercises. Artillery battalions from Russia and Belarus fired a salvo at the area where the imaginary enemy was concentrated.
