London does not intend to share information about the state of the investigation into the poisoning of ex-GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, even with its allies, Russian Ambassador to Britain Andrei Kelin said in an interview with TASS.

“Formally, we continue to do this [send requests to the British Foreign Office], although it is clear that the British government is not going to provide any information not only to us, but also to its allies, as well as to everyone to whom it promised to provide information [about the case]” , ー said Kelin.

The ambassador believes that one of the possible reasons for the reluctance of the British authorities to share information is the lack of data that would really confirm the guilt of Russia.

He also said that over time, the story of the poisoning moved into the category of one in which someone heard something, someone said something. The ambassador added that Russia is not indifferent to the fate of its citizens, therefore, Foreign Ministry officials are carefully monitoring the investigation of such provocations as, for example, explosions in the Czech Vrbetica. “The provocation took place, relations are ruined, and the organizers do not want to confess and are not ready to talk about this topic either,” the diplomat shared.

According to British authorities, former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were poisoned on March 4, 2018 with a Soviet-developed Novichok nerve agent. In London, they note that the attack was sanctioned by the top leadership of Russia. Moscow denies involvement in the incident with the Skripals.

On January 29, it became known that the police of the Czech Republic began to study and verify the circumstances of the destruction of a secret document of the country's special services regarding the explosions of military depots in Vrbetica. Law enforcement agencies found out that the report allegedly contained information about the involvement in the explosions in Vrbetica in 2014 of agents of the Russian military intelligence GRU.
