Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov commented on the statements of National Security Adviser to the US President Jake Sullivan about Moscow's imminent invasion of Kiev. His words are given on the embassy's Facebook page.
Antonov accused Sullivan of trying to heighten the propaganda campaign against Russia and create a public perception of imminent aggression. “Sullivan's remarks are sustained in an alarmist vein,” the ambassador noted.
Earlier, Sullivan spoke about the confidence of the White House in the imminent invasion of the Russian Federation. The US administration believes that an attack on Ukraine “could begin at any moment,” including during the Beijing Olympics. The assistant to the President of the United States did not disclose the details of the information allegedly obtained from intelligence.
