As a result of an enemy rocket attack on the Kanatovo airfield, near Kropyvnytskyi, on March 12, seven Ukrainian defenders were killed.

The information was officially confirmed by the head of the Kirovograd Military Regional State Administration Andrey Raikovich. The shelling also severely damaged the local infrastructure.

— Dear countrymen. As a result of yesterday's strikes on the military airfield, we have seven dead, the infrastructure has been damaged. The blows were of such force that the entire Kropyvnytskyi heard. The bright memory of our guys will be eternal. Glory to the heroes. Ukraine will win! Andrey Raikovich said.

A massive rocket attack on the Kanatovo airfield took place on the night of March 12. Subsequently, they will write in social networks that the loud sound of air shelling was heard throughout Kropyvnytskyi.

At the same time, the city of Kropyvnytskyi and other settlements of the Kirovohrad region continue to receive refugees from neighboring regions of Ukraine.

Since February 24, when Russia unleashed a full-scale war on Ukraine, more than 43,000 people have arrived in Kropyvnytskyi, and the number of evacuees continues to grow.
