Information about the nearest plans of the Rostec company appeared in the network. It turned out that the state corporation wants to invest about 30 billion rubles on the development of the first domestic processor of a new generation.
The project will be based on the RISC-V architecture, writes Vedomosti. At the same time, Yadro specialists will take part in its development.
If all goes according to plan, the processor will be ready by 2025. It is expected that computers operating directly in the structures of Rostec itself will be equipped with it. Also, the CPU can be introduced into the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health.
The state corporation intends to sell 60 thousand computers based on new processors in 2025. At the same time, it is planned to bail out about 7 billion rubles from them.
