Minister Manturov: more than a thousand aircraft are planned to be produced in Russia

In Russia, it is planned to produce more than a thousand aircraft by 2030, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the country Denis Manturov reported to TASS at the government hour in the State Duma.
“A milestone event for the industry in the outgoing year was the approval of the state civil order program. By 2030, our enterprises must build more than a thousand aircraft, ”the minister said.
According to him, deliveries of the IL-114 short-haul passenger aircraft should start in 2023.
In December, the “Military-Industrial Courier” (MIC), in a publication called “The Land of Falling Airplanes,” wrote that 2021 was a record year in terms of the number of plane crashes for Russia. “For 11 months, there were 31 plane crashes – more than 100 people were killed,” the newspaper counted.
In August, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) suspended test flights of a prototype Il-114 passenger aircraft after the crash of the Il-112V. A prototype of the newest Russian military transport aircraft Il-112V crashed on August 17 during a flight in the Moscow region. The incident occurred during a training flight. All three crew members were killed.
