Russia will create the latest military space control system. The commander of the 15th Army of the Aerospace Forces (VKS), Lieutenant General Andrei Vyshinsky, spoke about this in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
According to him, the purpose of this system will be constant control over the near-earth space in the maximum range of altitudes. Vyshinsky notes that the latest specialized radio control systems and optoelectronic systems will significantly increase the combat capabilities of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Earlier, the Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that Russia wants to sign an agreement on security in space. Moscow notes that the situation with the militarization of outer space has worsened due to the active actions of Washington. The diplomat added that Russia unilaterally assumed obligations on security in space back in 2004.
