The Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office began an investigation into the delay in the Azur Air flight from Yekaterinburg to Antalya by more than a day – a mobile reception was organized right at Koltsovo airport. RIA Novosti writes about it.
It is noted that the flight was supposed to take off on December 30 at 06:30 local time, but the departure was repeatedly postponed. “The reason for the delay: the decision of the airline. Due to the many hours delay, the Sverdlovsk transport prosecutor went to Koltsovo airport and organized a mobile reception for citizens, ”the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
It is clarified that the department accepted the collective appeal of passengers, and control was established over its consideration. Prosecutors will be at the airport until the aircraft arrives and passengers board.
“A prosecutor's check has been organized, as a result of which an assessment of the actions of the airline's officials will be given and response measures will be taken,” the department added.
Earlier in December, it was reported that more than 70 flights were canceled and delayed at Moscow airports due to unfavorable weather conditions and icing of the roads.
